Yanning Jiang is an Associate at Behar | Gibbs | Savage | Paulson LLP. She earned her PhD in Engineering in China and worked in the transportation industry there before coming to the United States in 2022. She also immigrated to the United States through the EB1A category and later attended Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. During law school, she served as an immigration law clerk at the Law Office of Judy Woods in Los Angeles during the summer of 2023. She also participated in Pepperdine’s Startup Law Clinic, where she counseled startups on entity formation, strategy, and agreements, and in the Mediation Clinic, where she volunteered as a mediator in Los Angeles small claims courts.
She received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, the CALI Award for Mediation Theory and Practice, and the 2024 AAA Diverse Student ADR Summit Scholarship. In addition, she passed the patent bar exam and became a registered patent agent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office while in law school. She earned her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine Law in 2025, along with certificates from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution and the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law.
