Melissa E. Fischer is Senior Counsel at Behar | Gibbs | Savage | Paulson LLP with more than 19 years of experience in defense litigation. Her practice focuses on dental malpractice, medical malpractice, elder and dependent adult abuse, and general liability matters.
She has extensive experience defending physicians, dentists, healthcare and dental professionals, hospitals, and dental facilities. Throughout her career, she has secured numerous dismissals for clients through successful motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss.
She is an active member of the California State Bar and is licensed to appear in all California state courts and the Central District of California.
Melissa earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2006 and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2000. During her undergraduate studies, she competed on the UCSB Division I women’s tennis team.
