Mark P. LaScola is a Partner at Behar | Gibbs | Savage | Paulson LLP and leads the firm’s Law and Motion Department, where he drives key procedural and dispositive victories across complex litigation matters. With more than a decade of litigation experience, he made the strategic decision in 2014 to focus exclusively on law and motion practice, bringing trial insight and appellate-level precision to every case.
He is widely recognized for his analytical rigor and persuasive advocacy, having successfully prepared, argued, and prevailed on a broad range of dispositive motions at the trial court level. His record includes repeated successes in high-exposure matters involving personal injury, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, and premises liability, as well as victories defending against dispositive motions that preserved critical claims and defenses.
Mark also maintains a strong appellate practice, having briefed and argued appeals before the First, Second, and Fourth Appellate Districts of the California Courts of Appeal, securing favorable outcomes for his clients through precise legal analysis and strategic issue framing.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History, magna cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law.
