Jay-Donavin Ved is an Associate at Behar | Gibbs | Savage | Paulson LLP, where he represents public entities and insured clients in complex civil litigation throughout California. His practice focuses on personal injury defense, premises liability, and dangerous condition of public property claims, with experience handling matters from inception through resolution.
He manages all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, law and motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation. He regularly evaluates liability and damages exposure, analyzes medical records and billing, and prepares detailed case assessments for insurers, risk managers, and public entity clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Jay-Donavin worked as a law clerk in Chicago, where he conducted legal research, drafted memoranda and briefs, analyzed case files, and supported attorneys in personal injury and medical malpractice matters.
He earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he served as Senior Editor of the Annals of Health Law and Life Sciences and published scholarly work on prescription drug coverage under federal legislation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Loyola Marymount University. He is admitted to practice law in California.
