David J. Mendoza is Senior Counsel at Behar | Gibbs | Savage | Paulson LLP and an experienced law and motion and appellate attorney. He works as part of complex trial teams, collaborating closely with trial counsel on trial strategy, evidence issues, and dispositive motion practice.
He has achieved success on motions for summary judgment and motions in limine, as well as on appeal. His appellate experience includes successfully defending a boating accident case on an assumption of risk issue following a defense verdict, and securing an affirmed, published decision after prevailing on a motion for summary judgment based on the workers’ compensation exclusivity defense.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Redlands.
