Chekwume E. Ufoegbune is an Associate at Behar | Gibbs | Savage | Paulson LLP, where he focuses on civil liability defense matters. He has experience across multiple areas of defense litigation and brings strong legal research and analytical skills to his practice.
He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he received a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law with Honors. During law school, he served as an Articles Editor on the University of San Francisco Law Journal (Vol. 53), earned the CALI Award in Corporations Law, and participated in Moot Court, receiving the USF Court Call Award for his work in the Saul Lefkowitz Intellectual Property Competition. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
