Arthur J. Casey is Of Counsel at Behar | Gibbs | Savage | Paulson LLP and a former Partner of the firm’s Silicon Valley office. With more than 35 years of litigation experience, Arthur has built a distinguished career representing businesses, manufacturers, transportation companies, insurers, and individuals in complex, high-exposure civil litigation throughout California.

Arthur began his legal career at Robinson & Wood in San Jose, where he became a shareholder before establishing his own practice in 2017. Today, his practice focuses on transportation litigation, products liability, premises liability, governmental entity defense, and employment law.

Arthur has extensive experience representing transportation companies, including major package delivery carriers, national logistics providers, and individuals within the transportation industry. His products liability practice includes the defense of manufacturers and distributors in cases involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death claims, electrocution, industrial accidents, property damage, and other high-exposure matters. He is particularly experienced in working with international manufacturers, including Japanese companies and their insurers, to successfully resolve complex litigation.

In addition, Arthur represents commercial property owners, retailers, homeowners, and construction contractors in premises liability matters. He also brings more than three decades of specialized experience representing insurance carriers in the investigation and defense of first- and third-party fraud claims.

Beyond his litigation practice, Arthur is an accomplished educator and author. He has served as a lecturer and chapter author for California Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB), including contributing to California Civil Discovery Practice, Fourth Edition. He has also taught business law and employment law in the School of Management at San José State University for more than 15 years.

Arthur is recognized for his practical approach to litigation, strategic case management, and consistent success resolving complex, high-stakes matters on behalf of his clients.
