Jaime Portillo is an Associate at Behar | Gibbs | Savage | Paulson LLP, where he is a member of the Law and Motion team and supports litigation across a range of civil defense matters, including torts, contract disputes, housing, and personal injury cases.
Jaime was born and raised in Southern California and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Southern California in 2016. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in 2021, where he served on the executive board of the Latin American Law Students Association and was an editor on Law Review.
After becoming licensed in 2021, Jaime gained experience in legal aid work focused on housing law and habitability matters, as well as private civil defense practice. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Hispanic Bar Association of the Inland Empire, the USC Young Alumni Association, the Riverside County Bar Association, and the Hispanic National Bar Association.
