Matthew R. French is an Associate at Behar | Gibbs | Savage | Paulson LLP, where he focuses on civil litigation and brings a strong background in intellectual property, regulatory matters, and corporate operations.
He earned his Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where he received a Law, Science & Technology: Intellectual Property Certificate. During law school, he served as a Smart State Extern for the Arizona Commerce Commission, focusing on Smart Cities development.
Following graduation, Matthew gained in-house experience supporting operations for a multinational corporation and working with the U.S. Department of Labor and Department of Commerce. He also has prior experience in patent prosecution and corporate licensing operations.
