Jim Mikhail is Senior Litigation Counsel at Behar | Gibbs | Savage | Paulson LLP and a California attorney focused on civil litigation, with an emphasis on automobile collision and personal injury matters. He represents clients in complex, high-exposure cases and brings a disciplined, strategic approach to motion practice, discovery, trial preparation, and case resolution.
Before joining the firm, Jim represented tenants in unlawful detainer and eviction defense matters at Eviction Defense Network, where he advocated for individuals facing displacement and high-stakes housing disputes.
He earned his Juris Doctor from Western State College of Law, where he received Honor Roll recognition and a Public Service Certificate. During law school, he served as a certified law student in the Western State Immigration Clinic, representing clients in bond and asylum proceedings before Immigration Judges and the Board of Immigration Appeals, and securing relief for clients in immigration matters.
Jim also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, cum laude, from California State University, Long Beach, where he was named to the President’s List and was active in student leadership and organizations.
